Power Lunch

August 1st, 2007

Power lunch Sometimes, work gets so busy that I forget to eat lunch. Some days I realize that I haven’t moved from my chair in 8 hours. Sometimes, this turns into all the time.

I took the spare 15 minutes I had today to grab a hot lunch. What a difference a little fuel can make! Not only does the food help - the 5 minute walk over to the cafeteria is a nice way to get some fresh air too. Great for getting over the mid day hump. I need to remember that regardless of how busy it gets, to always make time for lunch.

I know grilled cheese isn’t the healthiest menu choice, but it’s a start!

Here’s to the Future

Breanna and Dipendra at Lake Tahoe

Here is a picture of Breanna and I on a beautiful late summer day in Lake Tahoe, NV. Incline Village is so nice in the summer. The winters are much too cold for me! I proposed to her on November 2nd, 2006 (my 27th birthday) and she said yes. The details of the proposal are all on Michael Gaither’s web site, check it out there as well as all his nice music.

We haven’t set a specific date yet, though it looks like we’re pretty set on August 2009. This will give Breanna time to finish up school before having to worry about wedding planning activities (although they have already started!!).

I can’t wait. I love this woman with all my heart.

Screaming for Vengeance

Dipendra singing

Time to make another attempt at keeping a blog up to date. I’m not a big writer nor a wordy writer so it takes a lot of mental effort for me to blast words out to the world. Even at this moment, I am utterly slammed at work and don’t even have time right now to post a “flagship” blog for this site. At some point in the future this will be my main website for all stuff about me.

It will eventually have all my solo music (hopefully I will write more new stuff soon!) as well as resume, portfolio and other employment advancement type things. I’ll also do my best to document the happenings in my life and tell of all my adventures with my soul mate Breanna.

Sigh. Until then, back to work!
